Yaşar Üniversitesinin ev sahipliği yaptığı FIT4FUTURE etkinliği Prof. Dr. Özge Andiç Çakır ve Prof. Dr. Bahadır Namdar’ın değerli sunumlarıyla 25 Nisan’da gerçekleşti.

FIT4FUTURE Projesi, Yükseköğretimde STEM eğitimine yenilik getiriyor. Yükseköğretimde STEM eğitimini iyileştirmek üzere yenilikçi bir müfredat hazırlamayı hedefleyen proje bu kapsamda Yeterlilik Çerçevesi geliştirme ve STEM alanındaki öğretim görevlilerine geleceğe yönelik kestirim metotlarını öğretmek gibi faaliyetlerde bulundu. Ayrıca, bu metotların pratikte nasıl kullanılabileceği araştırıldı ve öğrencilerden gelen geri bildirimlerle bir rapor oluşturuldu.

Proje dahilinde ayrıca 20 hocayla yapılan görüşmelerden hareketle farklı medya türleri kullanılarak eğitim içeriği hazırlandı ve kendi kendine değerlendirme testleri geliştirildi.

Etkinlikte FIT4FUTURE’un gelecekteki potansiyeline dair önemli konuşmalar yapıldı. Prof. Dr. Özge Andiç Çakır, projenin ilerleyen süreçte nasıl evrilebileceği konusunda değerli perspektifler sundu ve yeni teknolojilerin kabul görmeden önce yaşadığı zorluklar ve projenin gelecekteki yönleri üzerine katılımcılarla birlikte fikir alışverişinde bulunuldu.

İnteraktif bir atölye çalışması ile katılımcılara trendlere yönelik senaryo yazımı ve Cross Impact Analysis gibi çeşitli metotlar tanıtıldı. Prof. Dr. Bahadır Namdar, FIT4Future çevrimiçi öğrenme platformunu katılımcılara tanıtarak etkinlik hakkındaki görüşlerini almaya yönelik bir memnuniyet anketi ile etkinliği tamamladı.

The FIT4FUTURE event took place in Yaşar University on 25th of April with valuable presentations by Prof. Dr. Özge Andiç Çakır and Prof. Dr. Bahadır Namdar.

FIT4FUTURE Project brings innovation to STEM Higher Education. The project, aims to prepare an innovative curriculum to improve STEM education in higher education level. It includes activities such as developing a Competency Framework and teaching forecasting methods to STEM instructors. Additionally the project researchs the practicality of the methods and has produced a student feedback report.

The project produced multimedia educational content based on interviews with 20 teachers as well as self-assessment tests for students to continuously improve their skills in STEM education.

Prof. Dr. Özge Andiç Çakır offered valuable perspectives on how the project could evolve in the future, and the participants got to exchange their innovative ideas. Difficulties that new technologies face before reasching worldwide acception and the future directions of the project were also discussed.

Prof. Dr. Özge Andiç Çakır introduced Cross Impact Analysis to the participants with an interactive workshop, as well as intorudincg various other forecasting methods such as trend-oriented scenario writing or fuzzy cognitive map.
