STORMLOG: Sustainable Transportation and Water Management in Local Governmental Services

STORMLOG project has overall objectives of (1) improving resilience of communities and cities to adapt new technologies against climate crisis and (2) enhancing the exchange of adaptation know-how and experience among organizations and cities within Turkey and implementation of innovative climate change adaptation technologies and systems. Specific objectives and outcomes of the project are

• Development of SECAP for Bornova, İzmir
• Development of a Guideline on Urban Assessment systems for sustainability
• Rising awareness for water scarcity and utilization of renewable energy and change of consumption behaviour which can help to have a more resilient society against climate change
• Define a roadmap for adapting infrastructure to water scarcity
• Define a roadmap for urban electrification

Piloting demonstrative actions for sustainable electrification of cities and water management practices in Bornova.
